The Discipline of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences since its inception in 2006 is committed to excellence in teaching and research in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Later, the chemical engineering department was established in 2016. The discipline houses more than 100 dynamic and dedicated faculties from premier institutes like IITs, NITs, CSIR labs and foreign Universities having remarkable research tracks. It is equipped with research laboratories and high-end instrument facilities and covers a wide spectrum of research such as laser-plasma interaction, ab initio calculations, topology, rheology of complex systems, nanomedicine, green chemistry etc.
To become the globally recognized discipline of science and chemical engineering nurturing professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs through virtuous academics and innovations.
Discipline of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences is dynamic, multicultural and has an exclusive learning environment. Fostering inclusion and awareness around multicultural education and taking a culturally responsive approach to teaching benefits all students. Diversity is essential and we prepare students to adapt to an evolving world and embrace those different from themselves.
Discipline of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences is the gamut of research activities making it a unique academic environment that stimulates creativity and critical thinking, and providing impetus to recruiting, supporting, and developing highly-skilled motivated researchers.
